Join us for a captivating journey to the past with Under the Ancient Oaks, a unique educational event designed to bring history to life. Taking place on November 14th, this immersive experience on our historic grounds will transport you to the Antebellum period, when the original phase of the Heyward House was constructed.

Living History Presentations: Meet over 30 talented reenactors portraying life during the Antebellum Era. See demonstrations of material culture, clothing, crafts, and everyday homestead activities.

Interactive Demonstrations: Engage with history through hands-on activities to gain a deeper understanding of a bygone era.
